Once again a display offering very little dignity for remains of the deceased visits this town . . .
This same exhibit failed in Kansas City last time around and seemed to be the beginning of the end of the institution's attempt to do anything but host corporate office space and events.

The exhibit is called Body Worlds and the Cycle of Life, and it’s an examination of our bodies from birth to death, in good health and bad health.
The exhibit features real bodies, real organs, all preserved in a process called plastination. It is similar to an exhibit that came to Kansas City eight years ago, but those in charge of this display say it will be different in many ways.
Hopefully one of the differences will be . . .
THESE KINDS OF EXHIBITS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR USING CADAVERS OF EXECUTED PRISONERS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT!!!
Also, the educational value is suspect and it's cheap exploitation of campy and somewhat sleazy corpses posed in provocatively, very much like pr0n but without a life affirming conclusion.

Might want to check facts before passing along speculation. Exhibition may not be for everyone, but it appears to be very high-quality with deliberate body donation documents in place. Nothing more important than understanding how our bodies work and sometimes fail. If this experience helps open eyes and change behaviors, then it has real value. Should be interesting.
