Paseo Invitational Coding Olympiad
I am trying to put together a Coding Olympiad in the KC School District. This school year we began offering coding in all the high schools. This is an opportunity to reward students for doing well, expose them to the world of competitive coding, teach them how to "network" like professionals, and just have some fun. These are all good students who have excelled in coding.
Donations would help cover tablets for each student who participates, pizza lunch, snacks, commemorative t-shirts, and gifts for winners of each round.
It shows students that hard work and effort do pay off. And, of course, works towards closing the "digital divide" that separates urban students from suburban students.
