Quick update here on the aftermath of a University of Missouri crisis created by the mismanagement of student protests.
Money line . . .
The 7,400 pages of emails, reviewed exclusively by these two publications, reveal how Mizzou overwhelmingly lost the support of longtime sports fans, donors, and alumni. Parents and grandparents wrote in from around the country declaring that their family members wouldn’t be attending Mizzou after the highly publicized controversy. Some current students talked about leaving.
This passionate backlash doesn’t appear to have been a bluff. Already, freshman enrollment is down 25%, leaving a $32 million funding gap and forcing the closure of four dorms. The month after the protests, donations to the athletic department were a mere $191,000—down 72% over the same period a year earlier. Overall fundraising also took a big hit.

Pretty much only the CUCKS at 0610 sports radio think Mizzou did the right thing after the protests.
ReplyDeleteThe 1950 protest set back the university ten years. Maybe more. I knew a few kids on my block who were thinking of MU. But after the protest, their parents advised them to go to UCM or NWMSU or even Nebraska.
ReplyDeleteAs for their sports team, the football team is dead. Last year it was one mistake after another. And the protest, Pinkel quiting was the cheery on top. Then to make matters worst, they had the worst recruiting class in the SEC. The bottom of the standings is were you'll see them for a long time.
Fuck MU.
ReplyDeleteFuck those administrators and professors who suck up to flat liner fucks like BLM and "Concerned blah blah blah..."
I hope the place turns into another "Black" college, where your degree is granted after an oral dissertation that goes something like this-
"Yeah muthafucka, I be trippin out about dat slavery shit and think us niggas should all get reparations!"
Blame the administration not the protester.
ReplyDeleteStupid college students do stupid college stuff.
It was the people in charge who shamed themselves by not handling it more professionally and letting themselves be intimidated.
The blame lies on both the administration and the protestors. The idiot administration allowed the entitled protestors and the lib media to dictate their actions. The so-called scholars who got their 15 minutes only made it obvious that they not only don't care about their school, but when they get out into the real world, they will be in for a shock when they don't get hired for any real jobs.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't send my dog there. They can go bankrupt.
ReplyDeleteThe real blame lies with the professors who used the black students to get rid of the president and chancellor. Now let's see how it works out for them.
ReplyDelete"Stupid college students do stupid stuff"
ReplyDeleteCall me polyanish, but I thought college students were adults and expected to act that way
The amazing thing is that in the military there are 18 and 19 year olds that conduct themselves in an honorable manner than the college students who think that just because they are going college, that they run the world
Yes the administrators are to blame also
Only because they should such absolute cowardice and fear of a handful of morons when all that was needed was to throw them out of the school
The problem also rests on the continuing hiring of professors who are so far left that sanity and reason are not on the curriculum
betcha that fucking nigga spike lee hasn't/won't donate to the niggas down there at MU.
ReplyDeleteMizzou is no longer on people's college lists. Pretty soon the state universities in Kansas won't be on people's college lists because they are too dangerous (starting next year, every student can take a concealed gun to classes).
ReplyDeleteCulturally and economically, the two-state region is a turd circling the toilet bowl faster and faster every day.
In a few years, Alabama and Mississippi will no longer be the states everybody jokes about for being the most backward shit holes in the USA.
I don't understand. You mean the coons and the football team didn't acquire MU with their massive financial power? Well hell who do the peckerwood tax payers and sugar daddies get to fire in retaliation? Seems to me someone really stepped on their dicks in this thing.
ReplyDeleteStick a fork in it, that school is done for.
ReplyDeleteDon't think a trillion in student debt is stifling higher education then you all might think again.
ReplyDeleteWhat education? That has been replaced with liberal brain washing! Useable education is mighty hard to come by in todays politically driven college environment. Certainly there seems to be a shortage of relationship and career related skill training available.
ReplyDeleteThe common theme I hear from life long Mizzou fans, "I'm done!" Surrending the keys to a 26 year old multi-millionaire community organizer in training was expedient but not a good long term decision. 1950 bullies won the battle, but Ol' Mizzou lost the war.
ReplyDeleteCollege is a consumer driven product and if you are unable to have a campus that is safe and without strife then people are going to go elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe real impact isn't the students who decided to go to NWMSU or UCM or Rolla but the ones who went to an entirely different university system in a different state.
