We'd like to believe that Kansas City politicos are advocating responsible gun ownership with respect for the 2nd Amendment but over the past few years this town's civic elite have consistently targeted gun rights and blamed the local murder count on Missouri gun owner protections.

You call a liberal company and they say the problem is so big that it must be the homeowners fault and we need to demolish the house and build something totally different whether you like it or not
It's the same with obamacare. There are people without health insurance, so instead of providing those in need with insurance, they will just rip apart everyone else's insurance and start over
With guns, it's the sane thinking. Instead of putting people in prison for using a gun in a crime, we will blame everyone who owns a gun, but commits no crime, the same as if they are criminals
Maybe, just maybe if the KCPD and the Jackson County prosecutor did their jobs citizens would not feel they need to arm themselves. I would prefer to keep my shotgun in a gun safe but as long as I live in Jackson County it stays available.
