An important note from a Kansas City hip-hop legend . . .
CSHMR returns with its third installment at a new venue in Downtown Kansas City!!!
Kansas City, MO. | Reach has been a stalwart of the Kansas City music scene for 15 years. As a self-made, independent artist he’s often created his own platform for hosting various events. In the past, Reach has thrown a number of themed parties in area venues. His latest venture CSHMR (pronounced: kazh mir) launched in February of 2015 at the Tank Room. The part doubling as his fourth annual birthday bash, featured sets from Reach (with Jazz ensemble Diverse) and DJ Skeme.
CSHMR returned in late-July of 2015 for a summer party on the Californo’s patio (4124 Pennsylvania). On Saturday, April 23 rd , Reach will host a dance party focused on the Reggae and Dancehall genres at the Prohibition Hall (1118 McGee). The DJ’s on duty for the evening will be DJ Skeme and Leonard Dstroy. The event will begin at 10pm that evening and require a $5 admission price from patrons aged 21 years or older.
Reach is not unfamiliar to the Prohibition Hall. A few months ago, Reach (flanked by his band The Buhs) hosted their 1 st Annual Player Haters Ball. With several successful parties to his credit, Reach continues to provide quality alternatives to static nightlife in Kansas City. CSHMR is still establishing itself as Reach’s newest property and its latest spring edition will be another flashpoint in what may be a much longer trajectory. Party-goers can expect a diverse crowd and quality entertainment – a common theme among Reach’s other parties.
