The newspaper takes the long way around informing readers that rate hikes and higher taxes are killing Kansas City's working poor:
Kansas City among nation’s worst in ‘energy burden’ on low-income families
This "news" is reported in the aftermath of another Kansas City water hike pushed through the day after E-Tax approval and ongoing KCP&L charges in the midst of City Hall press junkets and smiling faces.
Developing . . .
They didn't mention low income white Americans.
ReplyDeleteThat's odd.
Add KCMO water to the list of oppressors.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the toy train caused this.
ReplyDeleteThank you Dick Cheney. We remember the "energy crisis" well.
ReplyDeleteEnron!
ReplyDelete"They're f------g taking all the money back from you guys?" complains an Enron employee on the tapes. "All the money you guys stole from those poor grandmothers in California?"
ReplyDelete"Yeah, grandma Millie, man"
"Yeah, now she wants her f------g money back for all the power you've charged right up, jammed right up her a------ for f------g $250 a megawatt hour."
All of us White people get free energy, thanks to ...
ReplyDeletewait for it...
WHITE PRIVILEGE!!!
only "Latino and African American households" ever get charged for electricity.
It's actually the other way around. Niggers rig up free hookups for their "homes" (shacks, sheds...they don't live like humans because they're not) and humans end up paying for it.
ReplyDeleteHow clever of you to choose being born white.
ReplyDeleteWhite Privilege allows you to pretend that this country, that isn't in Europe, is a 'white country'.
Go back to your checkers game and shut up already.
ReplyDelete"Latino and African American households" juice bills matter.
ReplyDeleteWhites' bills.. ehh.. not so much.
To the Democrats, anyway.
LGBT electrical bills matter.
ReplyDeleteWell, Mr. Byron, what makes any patch of land a "white country" even Europe. It is the accident of history, human migration and occupation that has made any land the domain of any tribe. The Earth or any part of it is not the exclusive domain of any one human, group of humans, nor humanity as a whole.
ReplyDeleteThat's correct, 2:57. That West Virginny skolar keeps a'hollerin' 'bout he know'd erruhthang.
