For the dumb asses attending these for profit trade schools let me give you some advice.

First notice that the ONLY other schools talking about transferring credit are other trade schools. Do do not see a legitimately accredited state institution anywhere tha tis going to honor your fake ass credit from a career school.

Second, the only way another career school is going to give you credit for your fake credit is if they can look at your file and determine that there are plenty of state, federal or GI bill funds to be had.

Third even if they give you credits they will be their fake ass credits that will also be worthless at a state institution. Those of you getting your LPN, for example, will not find a four year college that will get you to your RN, PA or NP licenses because your credits will be worthless.

Please learn a lesson from this. There is no free ride i this world. When some school "Advisor" start sounding like a used car salesman, telling you there is almost no homework and classes are easy RUN LIKE HELL. This is not advice it is a sales pitch and once you sign in the dotted line they own your ass.

These fucking trade school are nothing but a racket designed to milk the last cent out of you and the government. Once you are on board you will not get off until they are through with you. They will provide damn near nothing for education and may well ruin your finances and credit for years.

That real shame is the local media which does not have the integrity to run news stories or tell the truth about these scam institution. The biggest reason being is these fake schools buy tons of advertising from local media and effectively buys them off.

I doubt the States are ever going to get involved and stop the massive rip off these school represent, but DO NOT make the mistake of even walking in the door of one of these places. Hit the Community (State Run) college, pay thousands less, get a good education and have a degree that is not ass wipe.

What's with the breathless fascination over a farmers' market and fresh vegetables?
There are well over a dozen similar markets around the metro, all within ten miles of the 1950s of the one downtown, and all much more convenient for folks who live in those communities and are therefore bustling with customers.
And the trolley hasn't started running yet.
    What a second-rate cow town!
    Moooooo!

  9. Yet, more people go to the city market every year that live in all those "communities" combined.

    Guess character counts for something.

  10. I think it's funny that when two guys show up in Water Department uniforms to rob the guy he says "I already paid my water bill" and they said "Yeah but you still have money left and they sent us to fix that".

  11. @4:43pm
Over 80% of the metro's 2.4 million residents don't even live in KCMO.
You must have been a math major in KCPS.
Convenience and location count for most of what people are looking for.
And if a farmers' market is the major attraction of a town pitching itself as a serious city, you need some new marketing help.

  12. Tony's Amateur Marketting Consultants.

What percentage of the metro lives in Overland Park, genius? What about Lenexa? What about Olather? Do tell...

Gues the thousands of people downtown today and this evening didn't get the memo that a brainiac marketing guru and math wiz from an Internet blog for 8-10 manchildren thinks they need "marketing help"...

    Too cute.
