These clips are pricey, might was well enjoy them. Take a peek:

  1. These are some of the most pitiful videos on ANY subject, I've ever seen.

  2. The more the hype is left behind and the actual facts are known, the more ridiculous and pathetic this whole thing becomes.
"Strap hanging" in big-time downtown KCMO!
    Hahahahahaha!!

  3. I like these videos. They make me feel glad that we're spending money to improve out downtown. Only tkc comment trolls stand in the way of progress and they are easily defeated!

  6. Where did the executive producers who approved this amateur crap come from Coffeyville Kansas or rural Nebraska?

  7. Well the video avoids all the sub par workmanship on this boondoggle that will probably begin falling apart the year Sly leaves the Mayors position.

  9. A week or so ago, I watched a streetcar on a test run trying to turn left from eastbound 5th Street onto Grand. It was unable to make the turn for two traffic light sequences because the track, as laid, forces the streetcar part way into the southbound lane on Grand. Meanwhile, of course there was a growing backup of cars behind the streetcar. This is going to be a huge and expensive debacle. Keep a list handy of the people who are responsible for the streetcar project. You will need to refer to it when it's tar and feathers time.

  10. It's going to be so popular tourists from all over the world will be arriving daily just to be near the KC Trolley!

  11. Fucking morons afraid of a streetcar because they can't see themselves driving their own cars around it. Keep spitting shit you idiots, time will have the answers.

  12. How long will it be until the cars have an permanent urine smell to them and we see the first assault and mugging on the streetcar?

  13. @10:04am
No one is afraid of the streetcar.
But downtown KC depends on private vehicles to transport people from where they live.
We all hear about the "explosion" of downtown residents, but you have to keep in mind that going from zero to one is a 100% increase, and the number of people who live downtown can't possibly support businesses, especially those that depend on after-business-hours customers after workers have all bailed to go home at 5:30pm.
The more inconvenient and expensive downtown becomes, the fewer people will CHOOSE to go there. There are very few unique attractions downtown and most entertainment and restaurant venues are replicated many dozens of times throughout the metro.
Life may be wonderful if you can get other people to pay for your toys and have no responsibilities, but the longer-term consequences for the city are likely to be very negative and severe.
    All aboard!

  14. 10:04: Time will have the answers. They're the same answers our great-grandparents came up with when they got rid of these things the first time.

    Toot toot!
