Take a look: "Of the country’s 50 largest metros, Kansas City ranked 34th, behind peer cities St. Louis (28th) and Oklahoma City (24th) but ahead of Louisville (39th). With crappy trade schools and promises of high dollars hundreds of students enjoy a great tech career of refilling toner cartridges, being a member of BBuys dipshit Geek squad and making slightly above minimum wage at the local hospital assisting old office ladies with their locked upo computers. Pretty hard to believe this was once the center for Compuserve.

ReplyDeleteNo tech companies are going to move to KC & $50K grants to tech startups isn't enough to buy toilet paper for the bathroom. If tech startup has a good idea, angel investors are lining up to sent millions their way. City Hall is totally out of touch with reality.
