Quick update on recent controversy for a nearby school district that is now ground zero of the Kansas City education fight . . .
Two controversies rage . . .
- Election counting, recounting and hard feelings . . . School Board reelection votes were close but now that the fight is settled, hard feelings remain.
- Even better . . . Talk of tax trouble for one school board member has political denizens abuzz. Right now it's all just chatter and really just a sign that frustrations with school leadership continue.

ReplyDeleteThe election was tough and it looks like the next term is going to be enough tougher. As for the Superintendent, looks like he's getting ready to leave Kansas City anyway so that will be the next fight TKC.

ReplyDeleteHopefully, the superintendent will be even more encouraged to keep sending out those resumes. Of course some other school district would have to actually want him. Evidently Hazelwood decided he wasn't for them, but maybe he didn't give them enough kook-aid to drink.
