The sordid subject of college campus sexual assault has been dominating the news as of late. For those who haven't read it already . . . ReplyDeleteExactly. While I feel bad for the women, they were both absurdly drunk and passed out at a frat party. During my college days the women traveled in groups to protect each other during these parties.
Not sure how the university is responsible for this, but maybe they have the deepest pockets.

ReplyDeleteOf course, unsatisfactory, regretted, but consensual sex with some asshole you decide to get drunk with is not rape. Certainly, not all drunken sex is rape -- or half the kids in America would be the product of rape, including most born IN wedlock.
Those claiming to be victims of a crime have the right to be treated with courtesy and to have their claims heard. They are NOT entitled to be believed, not are they entitled to have an alleged attacker punished without due process. Title IX is being abused to create Kangaroo Kourt systems biased against male students.
Our daughters deserve protection -- but so do our sons.
