FED GUN AND DRUG INDICTMENT CONFRONTS 18TH & VINE BIZ OWNER AMID KANSAS CITY $27 MILLION SUBSIDY DEAL!!!
City Hall is soon to double down on Kansas City's 18th & Vine District . . . So this update on one of the corner venues is important for taxpayers to consider regarding the destination of their subsidy that's totaling $100 MILLION since 1990 . . . Checkit:
KC Biz Journal: A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted the owner of Danny’s Big Easy Cajun restaurant for drug trafficking and weapons charges.
Deets:
"The latest indictment, like the original one, alleges conspiracy to distribute 5 kilograms or more of power cocaine in 2011 . . . Now also is charged with possessing cocaine with intent to distribute and possessing firearms to further a drug scheme. Authorities say the suspect had a 16-gauge shotgun with no serial number and a .22-caliber rifle."
Developing . . .
The only way you can survive in the Third District is either do as you're told or take and/or sell drugs. It's worked well for the Cleaver twins.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the 27 million could be used for bail.
ReplyDeleteIf in fact, if the man ponied up his life savings to open a restaurant - bar at 18th and Vine, maybe, he was seduced by our city leaders into believing that you could actually make money down there.
ReplyDeleteIf that were true and he lost everything, he probably felt the need to secure another income. "Lemme see..., what could I sell down here?"
If there was ever a defense, based on Moral Relativism, than this is it.
As long as the city is going to cough up 27 million dollars, why not just hand it out to the folks crazy enough to already own business' in that district.
By the way, that fuckin Negro League Museum is a fuckin loser, loser, loser. No one goes there, or, at any of the other, outrageously expensive Negro League Museums all over the country. What a waste of fuckin money.
A sawed off shotgun and a 22?
Did he catch some squirrels raiding his stash?
I am still dead, dead, dead in a Black On White Hate Crime, that no one in the local media cares about, because I was white.
Toy Train will be good for doing drug deals since after the opening day ridership will begin to dwindle to the point you may occasionally see Johnson or Staubio on it going out to get drunk.
ReplyDeleteRiding that train, Sly on cocaine
ReplyDeleteDamn! Lets hurry up and spend that E Tax to develop the whole area so the Feds can sweep up the coon thug drug pins in one big raid. We could even open the National Coon Drug Dealer Museum.
ReplyDeleteDanny must have pissed off Cleaver somehow. That's how it will be for anybody who starts a business on Vine. If you're not beholden to Cleaver and Ollie Gates, your business will perish. Another Black hole created in the name of blackness. It's cannibal season and Black folk is the soup de jour.
ReplyDeleteIs that tumbleweed I see in the future of our 18th Vine?
ReplyDeleteTaxpayer Bail Out
ReplyDelete18 th and vine deserves tax payer money so pay up you white bitches
ReplyDelete^^^^ i agree iv'e already made a check out ,just need to know who to send it to?
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny how the black elected officials tout 18th Vine and all of their black friends with business move to the Plaza, Westport and Crossroads. Donald Maxwell has been given more than a million dollars yet Jr. Maxwell has his law firm office on Belleview (The Plaza). It's the same for the biracial woman who acts as the Mayor's Chief of Staff. Her haberdashery was located in the crossroads but wasn't profitable. I say put your money where your mouth is... but they know it will bankrupt them.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of salad you tossed up there pal. I guess you're one of those guys who think a national economy is like a check book and you got a haircut in the divorce. Throw in some biracial accusations and you're paying for a kid that isn't yours. Its Friday and you put the salad where your mouth is.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no one is going to visit that area. What a monumental waste of money.
ReplyDeleteAny tumble weeds found at 18th and Vine, will be gold plated. The NIGGERS have seen to that...
ReplyDeleteWHAT? You're suggesting there are guns and dope dealing around 18th and Vine? Why do you keep running down our vibrant and creative city? The chance of erupting violence is the thrill that is attracting so many people to the so-called art and jazz district.

ReplyDeleteCall it what it is FOOLS DEADSVILLE..!!
Finally, more people see that 18th and Vine as a Kansas city's gimcrack.
