ReplyDeleteIn America we pay into social security most of our lives. In fact we pay much, much more in then we receive back. When you retire the government only allows you a monthly monthly check which is dispersed at an amount considerably below poverty level - even though your fair share, base on your contributions, would be a hell of a lot more.
ReplyDeleteIn recent years our friends in congress have shouted the perils of a social security system that will be broke in most of our lifetimes, yet the government continues to drain social security and use the money for hundreds of things that have nothing to do with your retirement. This is an incredible shill and should be a crime. The government takes your retirement, spends it on bullshit and then forces you to live on a penance of your money that is below poverty level and just barely enough to keep you of government subsistence and food stamps. You are additionally required to pay your medicare and supplemental insurance costs with no help.
In the mean time that 19 year old coon down the street, with 6 bastard kids by 5 different unidentified men, will receive free medical for herself and her kids, free food stamps, free educational costs, free meals at school and free housing paid for by the very folks who are being robbed of their retirement by the government. These ghetto hoes have to do absolutely nothing to get theirs except copulate and breath. We do virtually nothing to require this woman to train or acquire skills for employment. We do absolutely nothing to make basic productivity and achievement appeal to these dregs.
Before we start blaming corporate America or whitey for poverty we need to take a critical look at our own government who makes being indigent and worthless a virtue by means of complete dereliction regarding the issue.
