TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE ELECTION NEWS: KANSAS CITY DEMOCRATS 'FEEL THE BERN' AMID CROWDED MISSOURI PRIMARY AT OLD AND BUSTED POLLING PLACES!!!

Word of screwed up Kansas City voting is already starting to circulate online.

TKC FUN FACT: KANSAS CITY ELECTION BOARD STAYS LOSING AND ONCE AGAIN PROVES UNPREPARED TO DEAL WITH EVEN MODERATE TURNOUT!!!

There are a few fake stories thrown online this morning from D.C. hacks who don't know how voting works here . . . A key detail is Kansas City ballots don't have names printed on them and our system is much more antiquated than the rest of the nation with an old and busted ledger (in tablet form) holding voter info for signing before casting a ballot . . . No, there haven't been a bunch of people kicked off of voter rolls or turned away . . . In fact, there is pretty decent turnout (maybe even more than 10 percent!) but the local election spots are badly stalled amid (slightly) added capacity.

Even better . . .

EARLY REPORTS FROM KANSAS CITY POLLING PLACES REVEAL THE URBAN CORE IS FEELING THE BERN AND TEAM HILLARY IS MOSTLY UNSEEN!!!

Here's the word from AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS from a midtown locale . . .

A report from one voter on Union Hill @ 10:30 AM: "It took an hour and 20 minutes to vote. They were using pieces of scrap paper to identify you to the ballot distribution person. The ballot person was nearly out of democrat ballots. The line was longer than any I have seen in presidential elections. It was clearly a Bernie crowd. An African-American gentleman leaving yelled out 'feel the burn' and the line erupted in applause and approval."

To be fair, Hillary supporters are focused on the East side which should be the big battle ground both today and on April 5th for the earnings tax election.

Developing . . .

  1. I think now is the time to remember that opposition to the earnings tax will unite blacks, whites, Republicans and Democrats alike.

    Deal with it, Sly.

  2. It's going to happen3/15/16, 12:56 PM

We will pass the earnings tax on April 5th.

  3. I miss the good old days when they used to pass out 10 dollars for voters who did the right thing and voted the union ticket. Before that it was drink coupons. Now it's just a bunch of idiots handing out flyers.

  5. It'll be interesting to see if those "Feel the Bern" supporters show up in November after Hillary is the nominee.

  6. Hillary isn't going to be an issue come November. You can't be the President from a jail cell.

  7. I live in Midtown and I can confirm this sentiment but I don't play that trash.

I voted for Trump and instructed my wife to do the same. She was required to show me proof with her phone after we left the voting booth.

This weekend I'll fulfill my promise to take her out to dinner if she keeps up the good behavior.

  10. I can confirm the lines, but they were there because there's an extra step or two to voting now. One person checks you in, then you get a card that lets you get a ballot, then you go vote. November will be very interesting.

  13. One year ago, no one on the face of the earth thought either Trump or Sanders had any chance of getting even 1% support for president of the United States. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar. Jeb and Hillary were awaiting coronation as the establishment selections who would keep the status quo and continue the warfare/welfare policies of the corporate fascist surveillance state. The establishment and their paid pundits on propaganda TV were fat, content, smug and happy.

  14. What the politicians and the media and the cringing, pandering intellectuals of this country aren’t figuring is what happens when the political crisis of the moment is amped up by the financial and economic train wreck that is certain to come before the fall elections.

  37. The Trump phenomenon is pretty well-understood. A politically paralyzed nation hostage to malign forces, mired in racketeering and corruption, captive to PC witch-hunters, and pitching into bankruptcy.

  39. When KCK went to the Kansas Democratic caucuses a week ago, the minorities and machine hacks failed to turn out for Hillary. Bernie swept the state, even in Democratic strongholds where Hillary should have cleaned house.

Same thing will happen tonight in KCMO. A once-powerful Democratic machine has degenerated into a bunch of chair warmers in $2,000 suits who spend their time doing favors for their pals and getting richer ... and ignoring the people out there in the ever-more-decrepit neighborhoods. Greedy ward-heelers cannot get the troops to take orders the way they did in the old days.

So can anybody Democratic turn out mobs of supporters? Sure. Sanders.

  40. The election commission is as bad as the census bureau. They get paid 365 days a year and the culmination of all that work is this clusterfuck. Your tax dollars at work!

  41. 4:31, some may get wise eventually, when they see the accomplished families, nice homes, good rides, fun vacations and decent paychecks those great U.S. patriots and veterans enjoy. Too many remainders stay clueless drains on society too long or for a lifetime, crying and denying complicity in their own myseries.
