Warmer weather gives way to even more Kansas City violence on the eve of Mayor Sly's State Of The City Speech and the upcoming vote for more taxes despite police cutbacks.

KMBC: Officers said the shooting of two people happened near 53rd Street and Park Avenue. Both victims were taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. Police said one was in serious condition and the second was in stable condition.
