Seems totally related to the (under budget, self-funded with a FUCKING SURPLUS) streetcar.
ReplyDeleteYeah right. And run by a bunch of grifters and ward-heelers who, with or without wifi, have been unable to sense what's going on around them for decades.
ReplyDeleteMore stuffed suits using buzzwords like organic, green, holistic, etc to rip off the public.
ReplyDeleteFix the sewers with 50mil. No etax.
ReplyDeleteYou guys take no prisoners...whoa!
ReplyDelete$50 million from the feds for these tech bozos to play big-time "disruptor"?
ReplyDeleteAnd you wonder why the government is broke?
Every day is like a kid's Christmas at KCMO city hall.
50 million could buy you 10-15 bendy buses, all the money needed to repair them for the entirety of their life and all the money needed to pay the extra drivers for the entirety of their careers.
ReplyDeleteThat's why when you think about the streetcar it is so insane.
Streetcars no buses cost about the same over the life of service. Buses don't last as long. Facts are hard, though (for rubes).
