
The Kansas City Chiefs player who earned notoriety for his Muslim prayer penalty in the endzone amid an otherwise meaningless season calls it quits via social media.
"There are numerous deciding factors in my decision, with personal health being foremost," Abdullah wrote. "Sitting for five weeks last year after suffering the fifth concussion of my career, I had a lot to contemplate. My goals moving forward are to be of benefit to my family, my community, my country and hopefully the world. Having a sound mind will be vital in accomplishing these goals."
Never mind that he was pretty much at the end of his career anyhoo . . . Coverage of the social media quitting update reveals that he might looking for a place in the upcoming series of lawsuits that will soon end the game of football as we know it.
