The season of fun and violence is starting once again in Kansas City despite a recent lull in the homicide rate. The 25th & Brooklyn double shooting this morning seemed pretty bad but it's just one of many crimes Kansas City media is inundated with and the current administration blames on gun control: 2 men shot outside party in east KC

DeleteThis makes numero tres for violence near the new East Patrol. Prior to it, it was as quiet as a mouse in these parts. Everywhere there is a police station there is violence in this town.
ReplyDeleteMurders @ 35---gotta' get to 116. 116 ROCKS!!!
ReplyDeleteAre't they having a town forum next week... restore the Core, Power, Wealth, education. Some kind of urban summit. At the new police station? Why they couldn't build a Community Center is beyond me. Who wants to keep meeting at a police station? Really? It is for the Police, not the Community. Do not get it wrong. It will NEVER fit in the community otherwise. You ca cram it down their throats, but they don't have to swallow....

ReplyDeleteIt's precisely this type of racist shit that needs to end. Cramming is only part of it. And pretty much every "event" held there goes unattended. The neighborhood organizations won't even meet there. Why? Because nobody in the community wanted it. The target neighborhoods built relationships with Central Patrol; not East Patrol. It's such a waste. That money could have been put to better use with community involvement - not dictatorial force. It's nothing more than a big landmark the conveys the message "look at what we did to Black people...we stole their land again".
I'm sorry but I can't under stand your words from your snaggletooth.
ReplyDelete25th and brooklyn? That is DANGEROUSLY CLOSE to the original Arthur Bryant's.
ReplyDelete17th Brooklyn = Arthur Bryant's
