TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! RISING EARNINGS TAX EXEMPTIONS ANGER KANSAS CITY CRITICS OF QUESTION 1!!!
The fight to renew the Kansas City earnings tax argues for ongoing support of city services and first responders but fails to mention all of rich, lucky and connected denizens who have found a way to escape the cost of doing biz in this cowtown.
To wit . . .
CHECK THIS EPIC LIST OF KANSAS CITY DENIZENS WHO HAVE ESCAPED THE COST OF THE EARNINGS TAX!!!
Turns out, a great many local power players supporting the tax push aren't paying . . . Take a peek:
- A KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER REMINDS US THAT THE SUPER RICH CAN ESCAPE THE KANSAS CITY E-TAX . . . "Exemptions from earnings tax include disability, social security, retirement, pension, worker’s compensation, and unemployment compensation. Also exempted are contributions to and distributions from deferred tax plans, interest, dividends and investment income. My thought is the folks that supported the e-tax last time around don't pay the e-tax - you know the 1% . . ."
- Kansas City Super Lawyers Polsinelli get their E-tax handed right back to them in STL according to the RiverFront times exposé.
- Also, STL is now offering a tax exemption credit for those working out of state whilst Kansas City lingers behind in abiding by a recent ruling from the Supreme Court.
In the final analysis . . .
LIKE IT OR NOT . . . ONLY SUCKERS AND WORKING STIFFS ARE PAYING THE KANSAS CITY E-TAX!!!
Turns out that a great deal of income the power players at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce take down doesn't fund this controversial levy at all despite desperate pleas to renew the regressive tax.
You decide . . .
TKC, think this one through. A rise in the earnings tax will necessitate a spike in sales and property taxes and those are FAR more regressive.
ReplyDeleteSly's office says, "Save our slush fund"
ReplyDeleteReality check: E tax will only win by a full 10 point margin this time.
ReplyDeleteThe same idiot dolts who fell for Slime's scare tactics last time will fall for it again.
ReplyDeleteLook for the mass mailer with the flatlining EKG coming soon!
Fuck the E-Tax.
ReplyDeleteSteal from the poor give to the rich.
I don't think you can call people on disability, social security or unemployment rich the city cronies have done plenty to use creative accounting to ease the burden on companies. What does it hurt the Star to pay earnings tax on profits when they get a huge abatement of other city tax? Look at the, so called, non profits set up to give the operators a good wage, but are far from being charities.
ReplyDeleteThe E Tax should be a last resort not a prime source of city play money. The city takes literally billions, over the years, in state and federal tax monies paid by those outside the city and then act like someone driving through town should be taxed for using the cities resources. Does the city use the Federal and State money to fix anything like the Brush Creek fiasco with the EPA that is on its was to being a mess for decades? Hell no, they want to build entertainment districts and tourist traps while crying like they are in a bind.
I say it again VOTE NO on the E tax and if it passes BOYCOTT and don't spend a single cent inside the city limits of KC. There will never be a hint of fuduciary responsibility in this town's government until the people force the issue.
Johnson county don't have a e-tax and things working out over there. More rich people there than in Kansas City.
ReplyDelete@10:18AM Of course it will. Residents of KC Proper are a bunch of fucking fools. They would vote yes for a tax on the air they breathe.
ReplyDeleteWhy are residents of KC Proper such Fucking Rubes?
They're not rubes they're mostly dumbass subhuman feral apelike niggers.
ReplyDelete"We don't pay taxes, only little people pay taxes" - Leona Helmsley.
ReplyDeleteThe Ball Teams Don;t pay 1% of their paychecks. They make millions. Does Hunt pay 1% of the money he makes on the team?
ReplyDeleteMy attorney from Kansas, drives over here talks some trash in the court room and I pay him in Kansas. Technically he worked in Missouri. He used the public building as he place to earn several thousand dollars. He drove his Mercedes back over to Kansas and cashed the check for his share of the settlement. Do you think he paid anything? 1% E-TAX is a joke, a bad joke on the everyday worker like myself.
Vote No on this ripoff.
Troy Schulte is what angers me about the ETax.
ReplyDeletedisability exemptions are generally not a "rich person" thing.
ReplyDeleteBullshit. The income sources you mention are not exemptions from the earnings tax, they are simply not "earnings" as defined, and therefore ot covered.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how so many people think this E Tax rackett is a scam and then the coons and libtards of KC will turn right around and vote yes. If they pass that shit this time people better go after starving the shit out of KC until those mooching fucks come around and learn to understand that taxing people and denying them any participation is going to be an expensive proposition.
ReplyDeleteToday i had to go to nigmart. I hate going there but sometimes they are the only place that has what i need. At this time of year the local nigmart has a booth from a nationally known "tax preparer" set up to do taxes (only a nigger would go to nigmart to do their taxes, humans go to accountants or reputable establishments). As i went in past this booth a sheboon was having a cat 5 chimpout at the clerk. The nigger was ooking "i dids my taxes two weeks ago, how comes i dins gets muh refun check yet". The clerk was trying to explain the process of the IRS getting the refund, checking it over and then the IRS issuing a check. The nigger wasn't having any of that saying "ya'll dids my taxes, ya'll's spoda gibs me my refun. where my money". I just shook my head at the sheer ignorance of the beast. As i was leaving the clerk was STILL trying to explain to the brain dead nigger sow how tax refunds work.
ReplyDeletemy mom does my taxes..never a problem.
ReplyDeleteStalking me here was not enough for these guys. Someone from Overland Park, KS restarted a stalking thread here.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.topix.com/forum/city/clarksburg-wv/TKALSPJUIFLLE127Q
The local people commenting on this thread don't know me, but these guys are telling people to take action against me, because they've decided that I'm not a veteran. Its a matter of public record, for anyone smart enough to know how to find it.
So, if you aren't getting the response from me that you wanted by stalking me here, you can join this party. At least, until the site moderators delete it.
Fuck you ! You don't live here Shithouser
DeleteBut, then they'll probably just start another one, you know, because they are not stalkers, just my betters.
ReplyDeleteThis thread will probably be up until Monday.
I am not a public figure. This example of stalking is probably illegal, since its intention is to cause me harm.
You fucking Shithouser why are you stalking a KC blog. You don't fucking even live here !
Deletewhat branch ? what year? what rank? you could tell us that, right?
ReplyDeleteThe E-Tax should be voted down. It is about time the City takes a close look at its spending.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous people don't deserve such answers. You demand accountability, while hiding your identity.
My status as a veteran has been acknowledged by the Veterans Administration. They helped me find housing. Before I found a better clinic, I was treated by the local VA Hospital.
My past is not the issue. The issue is that this is illegal stalking of a private citizen.
I am not stalking here. You can't stalk a blog. I have Tony's blessing to comment. I've been doing it for six years.
ReplyDeleteYou can only stalk people. They are stalking me. Defend them if you want. Follow the link & add your two cents worth, if you wish. They deleted the last thread, on Monday they will delete this one, if not sooner.
ReplyDeleteYou need help from the VA you are sick!
DeleteDemocrat greedy weasel trial lawyers scamming the taxpayers??
ReplyDeletewhy is this considered .."news"?
Byron. Six years? You promised to stop when Mark was no longer mayor. This is how I know you are a lying liberal hypocrite, you are still here.
ReplyDeleteByron couldn't pass a physical. He has been "blind" since he was a young child. He has told us that many times. Nobody is stalking you Byron, you are a weak old man. You are mentally unsound so a little preventive care is in order.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Terry Murray. Byron stalked me. At one time he accused me of being a NHL coach.
ReplyDeletePretty sure everybody has Tony's blessing Byron. You are not special.
ReplyDeletePay E-Taxes to defeat the Axis! Wait....
ReplyDeleteThe reverse is true these days.
No one knows history.
Dear Byron,
ReplyDeletePosting on a public site isn't stalking you fuck asshole. You come here and call people names all the time. Sounds like someone or a bunch of somebodies has gone else where
and calling you names. Comes around goes around. You could end it all at anytime stupid just stay away and play in your own yard and stay out of our business and maybe we will stay out of your business. In fact maybe a local newspaper there in Clarksburg might be interested in doing a story on you. Fact is I bet I could find someone out there willing to do a story on you and expose you for the POS you are. So I have to ask Byron, are you ready to be made a national idiot? Remember all the things you have said in here are all floating around out there somewhere.
Byron reported this blog and Polar Bear to the fucking Southern Poverty Law Center. Yes that's stalking.
ReplyDeleteHe's been caught in multiple lies about his service and his disability.
The more he talks the more I'm starting to believe he's Tony posting for comments.
If it was between Byron and Cum Guy I'd take cum guy everyday. At least CG if funny and has purpose.
Byron = fucking loser.
Perfect coon mentality. If I keep flapping my pie hole in a Kansas City blog I am just educating and informing racists. If they comment on a West Virginian blog they are targeting and stalking me.
ReplyDeleteThe E-Tax is a joke. Believe it or not, the economy in Kansas will slowly but surely pull jobs and businesses out of KC. This is because of the State and local taxes levied on the citizens of each area.
ReplyDeleteThe City should assume the e-tax will be voted out and should have a game plan in place.
Byron is a pussy. We know where he lives, we know everything he pretends to be. Bring it Byron.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Do want us to embarrass the kids? They don't want anything to do with you...
