The interracial homicide rate is growing in the U.S. which is sad because the term "interracial" always had more pleasing connotations for astute media viewers.
To be fair, official reports aren't yet identifying the victims of this tragic Kansas mass shooting. That means it's possible this shooter killed African-American people too . . . It looks like he was spraying bullets everywhere and Kansas is a lot more diverse than most people think . . . He might have even hit a few Mexicans given the lawn care company connection.
But I digress . . .
And so, here's the subject that MSM won't dare touch . . .
Racists, newshounds and even casual viewers are talking about this story from a racial perspective given the divisive nature of the current culture war. Chatter on message boards across the nation already spews hateration before the facts are in . . .
But, our theory on TKC and the reason behind this blog has always been that it doesn't help to keep talk and civic concerns secret and pretend they don't exist.
Reality . . . There are a great many white people who think this isolated incident threatens their safety and note this as a pattern of black on white shootings according the cable news they watch. For some, this high profile tragedy is analogous (but still completely unrelated) to the TV news crew gunned down back in August.
Another reality check . . . This is America, shooting each other is our favorite pastime and we're more likely to be gunned down by some one we know from our same ethnic and racial group. Hope that makes everybody feel safer!!!

Most of these people have one thing in common, low self image. They want you to wonder who they are and what they ate for dinner.
