ReplyDeleteSeriously, good safe gun handling is still taught to very many farm kids as in our earlier, more agrarian nation. Shooting for food, protection, competition or all three keeps Americans invested in the 'right'. So, everyone should be properly trained who owns or uses guns.
Like a vehicle, a powertool, or even our words, guns can be "operated" irresponsibly. Driver's Ed, shop safety manuals, a bar of soap, and range courses help shape civil society. We saw the ads giving great advice from Ned Yost during the Royals season. Get gun safety trained!
I was taught how to use a hand gun, rifle and shotgun while still in grade school. I was taught the proper way to clean and care for them. I as well was taught that a gun was a tool, not a toy and that you used a gun for hunting, target practice, shooting competition and protecting your property from not only vicious animals, but people with bad intentions.
ReplyDeleteI was never taught to use a gun only to kill someone. As a child I never heard songs on the radio all day that was about killing someone. I didn't see artists or song writers of the day posing with a gun pointed at me. I didn't see black people on TV yelling, "Burn this bitch down."
Only an imbecile as Byron would view a gun as a murder weapon only, while advocating for those who are the ones really committing all the murders day in and day out. Young black kids today are taught that owning a gun is for nothing other than for killing another as 90% of all blacks rappers sing about.
Our forefathers knew what a gun was for and that is why they made the 2nd amendment that gave a person the right to have one.
Our forefathers never ever said that right was for a bunch of thugs and black hoodlums to run wild killing at will. No they wrote the 2 amendment so us sane and contributing groups of people would be able to continue to protect ourselves from thugs and hoodlums who deserve to be shot down where they stand when they have decided that taking from others is easier than working or being a productive citizen.
I swear sometimes, I think our forefathers somehow knew the 2nd amendment needed to be there and made sure it was there all those years ago.
Oh no! Lets don't teach kids responsibility and safety related to firearms. Instead lets teach them to first steal their guns and then how to shoot up the whole fucking block like they do in the ghetto. The first program would never be endorsed by the head coon.
ReplyDeleteHey Byron..... Choke on a cock. My sons have ALWAYS owned slingshots, blow guns, air rifles, knives, bows, shotguns, rifles and pistols. Guess what else?? It's not a big deal to them. These are useful tools to them. They've been taught their safe and responsible use and storage. I've raised young men who can hunt and defend themselves or their mother if need be. I'm very proud of that. So anyway you can go ahead and raise some limp wristed pan-sexual hippy dippy government dependent boys if you want. I don't care. I'll go about building men. Leave me out of your fucked up idea of what America should look like.
