Credit where it's due, these Kansas City toy train streetcar clips are captivating and really fun to look at . . . No, it's unlikely that this bit of 20th century tech is going to power a renaissance inside the loop BUT everybody likes cartoons and they're an easy way to make a pitch seem less threatening in much the same that those Hamm's beer commercials were TOTALLY targeted toward youngsters and this town's least favorite blogger looked forward to watching them on late night TV.
But I digress . . .
Here's the latest streetcar clip crediting the toy train for all kinds of economic gains AND the Royals World Series Win . . .
Hopefully, more for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!
The real story is that those animations were not produced in the united states but they still cost a fortune. Time to grow up, TKC.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^ It's flash, most likely a U.S. company did it. Just not a local one. Read more, dude.
ReplyDeleteMore sound and fury from Staubio and the gang.
ReplyDeleteThese animations might look good but they don't have much in common with the final product on local streets. This is just more marketing for the overbudget, delayed and union busting project.
Does the cartoon feature a thief stealing from KC buses?
^^^^ Get more fiber, dood.
ReplyDeletedoes it feature niggers pissing in their seats?
ReplyDeleteThe hobo train will not save kc.
ReplyDelete^^^^ CAVE has spoken.
ReplyDeleteCave is wrong a lot.
Streetcar stays winning... See you guys at the grand opening and the groundbreaking of the convention hotel...
ReplyDeleteDowntown is literally ripping off the rest of the city.
ReplyDeleteBIG TIME
Property values are going down in all the so called shiny new hip places in the TDD.
It's actually diabolical.
Tony's KC...........
ReplyDeleteLoser's that can't get beyond the denial stage of loss.
So, they come to a blogger site and illustrate why they are so dysfunctional in life.
AKA, losers.
Save The North Loop! With Trolleys!
ReplyDeleteThere is no end in sight as to how much embarrassment and damage these downtown streetcar supporters and all their shills can do to this city.
ReplyDeleteTony, don't you mean 19th century technology? This streetcar isn't much more technologically advanced than the electric railroad that ran in the late 1800s that was, wait for it, PRIVATELY FINANCED AND NOT BORN OF THE TAXPAYER TIT.
ReplyDelete@6:54am:
ReplyDeleteThe residents and taxpayers stay losing.
See you at the bankruptcy hearing on the steps of the county courthouse.
Feel free to take the train.
Just how much has the city spent to hype this damn thing.
ReplyDeleteThat's a figure taxpayers might want to see prior the the e-tax vote.
Within 1 year of the TOY TRAIN operating, I predict that there will be a Shooting on the TOY TRAIN !!
ReplyDeleteIt'd be typical, considering where its running and who's going to be riding on the Toy Train !
Typical Example is the Recent Assaults on the city buses by a particular group of Degenerates ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Just a matter of time before its all over the news, like everything else they lay their pesky hands on, and turns to utter shit !!
