TKC EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SPARKS FLY OVER DISCLOSURE QUESTIONS AT KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR DEBATE!!!

The recent debate over Kansas City's streetcar was eventful and here's what is probably the highlight of the discussion that speaks to the future of the toy train . . . Checkit:

"Not sure this was much of a debate but there was one interesting part when Patrick Tuohey was questioning David Johnson. David had brought up the expansion possibilities and Patrick asked him if he would share the plans with the voting public. After David dodging the question for a couple minutes; Patrick kept pushing. David finally said ‘NO” and the crowd gasped."

Insiders tell us that it wasn't much of a real "debate" and the friendly forum style makes it harder to get a straight answer out of people . . . Still, credit to all of the participants and KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS for sharing the conversation rather than just waiting for another secret plan in the works from transit advocates who have already been told NO to streetcar expansion by voters.

  1. Jesus Tony that didn't happen and you know it (not that you would, since you weren't there and I was).

Blowhard Patsy blew hard for an hour and bored everybody and that was it, there were no dramatic confrontations and no trident fights.

What a fucking liar you are! Just dreaming up shit out of thin air. Does anybody believe you anymore?

  2. Tony just grinds away at Patsy's agenda the way a nigger fucks a dog, hard, without much regard for the truth.

    Laughable? Yes. Believable? Nope.

I for one do not believe this account for one second either.

Sorry, but the best and most hilarious part of the event is where Touhey declared as fact that the reason people have chosen to move out of KC south the river is because of "decades of bad spending decisions" by KC’s government. Then he went on to say that HE CHOSE TO MOVE TO KC (south of the river) IN 2005!

WTF! If KC is making such horrible decisions for “decades” then WHY THE FUCK DOES TOUHEY CHOSE TO LIVE HERE?! Basically he said, “smart people don’t want to live here, but I personally made the choice move here from D.C.” So either Touhey is not smart (probably true) and/or a liar (most definitely true).

So hey Touhey, now’s your chance. Will you explain to the public why you chose to move to KC that by your own analysis has been totally screwed up since the 70’s? Will you disclose who your funders are? Will you disclose your involvement in CFRG? Will CFRG disclose its plans, its funders? Who paid for Sue Burke’s attorney? Will you disclose that? Will you disclose how many members of the media you outright lied to and then got caught doing so? (Yes, we know you all too well.)

Fuck no, you won’t. You are a hypocrite and a scumbag.

Chastain, CFRG and company are mostly crazy, so that’s their excuse.

And Botello’s excuse is that has no life other than this blog.

    What your excuse, Touhey?

  5. I was there too and Davey absolutely said no he wouldn't disclose the secret plans. I loved it when the looney liberal Korean professor insulted everyone by saying Kansas City is so boring no one wants to visit or live here. City employees in attendance were not amused.

  6. Watch... The first expansion will be to the Plaza down Main, packaged with an 18th and Vine spur.

  7. Johnson's a serial liar. That is no secret. It could also be he just believes his own lies, which is even more dangerous.

  8. I could not think of someone less prepared to speak to the public than Johnson. He is unlikable and evasive. Sly needs a better representative of streetcar is to expand.

  9. It will be harder to fool people the next time into voting for a streetcar. It will also be hard to establish a special tax district in an area of the town where there are permanent residents, not mostly transient renters like in the Main Street tax district. Permanent residents are not going to want to pay the extra streetcar tax every time they buy something in their own neighborhood.

  10. Hmm, Tuohey, Patrick Eugene, 614 E 73rd Terrace, 64131...yup! South of the river! Got a pretty nice Lexus RC350 in his name, too...that's only a $40,000 car! Guess shilling for rich people has it$ perks, eh Patsy?

  11. 1:40, 1:45, 2:53, & 4:40 are trolley boy.

I heard the Korean guy said streetcars were for white people and buses are for black people. Did this really happen? And if so, why hasn't the shit hit the fan?

    Where is Lewis? Mary? Yael???

^^^^^^ Oh for God's sake. Yes we all know who the pro-streetcar folks are and who the anti-streetcar folks are and that both sides trade barbs on this blog via anonymous posts. But anyone with half a brain knows the names of TKC's "tipsters and posters." When the same 8 people regularly appear on Facebook saying the exact same things that are posted here "anonymously" it doesn't take a fucking rocket scientist to figure out who is who.

  13. This should be no surprise to anyone in KCMO.
There will never be a citywide vote, the city tested the waters on how to get what they want with the least amount of votes ,with the downtown vote.
The only people that should be voting on this are actual property owners not a bunch of socialist, clueless UMKC & KCAI students.
Midtown neighborhood like Hyde Park, and its middle-class homeowners are about to shoulder the largest property tax increase EVER.
The unsuspecting homeowners are about to be hit with a 10% neighborhood CID property tax, a Streetcar District property tax,Jackson County Property tax increase and if the E-TAX fails the largest citywide property tax increase.
Self appointed neighborhood elitists are already pushing it at their Association meetings, making it seem that a property tax increase is needed and the rightbthing to do.
Keep in mind many of these self-righteous homes association presidents and boards have 6 figure incomes, and could care less if your income hasn't kept up with the never-ending tax increases. ..question, what can be done ?

  14. Buses are for niggers because buses can be hosed down and fumigated to kill the bugs niggers bring with them and the odor (aka "nigger skank") that flows from their every pore.

All humans are offended by the smell and appearance of other races. Nigger smell is offensive, because niggers are dangerous. It's instinct.

Dogs and horses stink too. But this smell doesn't bother most people because these are animals who improve our lives.

Poor hygeine is another matter. I never leave the house without first taking a shower. To me it's about respect. Smelling bad is disrespectful to myself, and to others. In my experience, niggers often have BO. Because they don't care how their behavior affects others. They see no shame in lying, stealing, or just being dirty.

  15. 5:43: Good point. We have trolley boy, the n-word trailer park guy, and the Hyde Park is an evil empire freak.

One puzzle is why 2:53 thinks his posts are censored when they obviously aren't. They're usually inane posts, of course, and perhaps they should be censored, but they're not.

  16. "Trolly boy", "n-word trailer park guy" and "Hyde Park evil empire freak"..... that's some enlightening shit dude.

You forgot "cum guy", Byron, Stupor Dave, and the Jewish Babble, Chuckles. Oh well, now you have material for the next two months. Maybe time to buy another bottle of Tylenol.

  19. KC has NEVER had a "vote" on the toy train, and anybody who thinks that the first "vote" somehow counts is even stupider that I thought. If you guys are so confident that the toy train is going to be wonderful, let's hold a citywide vote. A REAL election, not a sham. It will pass at 18th & Vine because those idiots think they are gonna get something for nothing. It will not pass in the neighborhoods where people actually have to pay taxes, and the toy train advocates know it.

  20. See you guys at the streetcar expansion groundbreaking later this year...

  21. Most of KC did vote on streetcar expansion in August 2014. And the voters said "hell no" by 70%. This should have settled it but streetcar dweebs and hipsters have OCD when it comes to their favorite form of personal transportation. They can't accept that KC does not want their toy train.

Johnson must have been hit by a car as a child to have such negative opinions about motorized transport.
