Just a quick note about the short-lived glory of the new Chair of the Jackson County Legislature . . .
Never mind that former Exec Mike Sanders power grabbed most of the authority from the position and made it mostly ceremonial.

Missouri Democrats Have Put Crystal Williams On Notice For Her Primary Antics
In multiple primary elections across the State, Crystal Williams has been touting "girl power" and pushing/promoting some decent but not fantastic candidates into the mix. This tactic seems supportive at a glance but creating primary conflict where none exists is a strategy that's costing Missouri Democrats hard earned cash that they don't have to spare. "She's an awful Democrat and she's doing a disservice to these candidates and herself" says one Missouri Insider. And so . . . We hear that Democrat higher ups have put Crystal on notice and we look for her to step back from some of her previous primary election support leaving many ladies out in the cold . . .
Accordingly . . .
Kansas City Girl Power Could Be Turning Against Crystal???
Local lady politicos might be looking for new leadership given the divisive tactics of Crystal Williams . . . Again, her "girl power" tactics have created hard feelings amid otherwise supportive ladies . . . With election season coming up . . . The local group of politically minded females could soon be looking for a new leader.
Meanwhile, we hear Crystal is celebrating her newfound power @ The County but still has yet to bring any of the reforms or changes that she promised long ago. Basically, things still work they way they always have at the Courthouse only now with Crystal as part of the team.

ReplyDeleteCrystal has became a flamethrower and actually hurts the movement that she claims to defend. It's a shame she is wasting her time as an elected official as a pawn for men. Crystal is a classic example of a sellout who has made no difference and try to cover it up by putting women in primary's.
