WaPo Confronts JoCo Drug War

An important examination of a local shock over the middle-class getting treated like suspects...I.E. Like everybody else: Federal judge: Drinking tea, shopping at a gardening store is probable cause for a SWAT raid on your home

  1. Corrupt Kansas law enforcement strikes again. Thanks to these very brave family, the veil of corruption has been uncovered. Kansas is corruption central. Keep these crooks in the media. They hate the light of day on their corrupt system of guilty under proven broke.

  2. Certainly makes the judge look like the village idiot!

  3. The problem is these Federal District judges are appointed through political reward and they are all favourite sons. People look to them as professional jurists who will be fair and unbiased because they are Federal, but they come from the state in which they are appointed from the same bar associations and cesspools the state legal system is created from. You aren’t going to see any justice these days until you get above the circuit level. All this prick did was cover the state's ass so it would not be sued off.

This was another case of a Tim Runnels type thinking they were going to but two big time X-CIA agents and make all kinds of good political press. Instead these herkimer Barney Fifes stepped all over their dicks and conducted character assassination on two heroes. I hope this case goes to the supreme court and accountability is affixed.

It is easy for the police to blame a faulty drug testing concoction for the screw up, but state law enforcement are not amature store detectives. God Damn it they have a responsibility to get it right. If they let this fly the next think you see is retired circus dogs out on the highways playing drug detection dogs and that kind of bullshit will be justified through this court. One thing history has taught us all and that is if government agents can find a loophole in the law abuse will follow. This bullshit needs to be checked right now before there is no longer a constitution to protect anyone in this country..

  4. Yep, this Kansas couple would have been left alone if they were of a certain radical muslim affiliation. The San Bernardino man and wife who mass murdered Americans had THEIR civil rights safeguarded. DHS ordered scrutiny of them and others shut down citing civil rights protections.

Philip Haney tried that "see something-say something" to warn Congress. Seems Haney got forced into retirement from his job at Dept. of Homeland Security.

What was it Trump and others warned about "vetting"?

  5. It's a fact that Kansas sheriff department's have their own private armies. Armed to invade a small country, hire dangerous thugs who lie, cheat, steal and hide behind the badges of shame. This is happening more than is reported. Unless this case does go beyond the Kansas good ol' boys club justice club, we have no way to defend ourselves against these corrupt thugs.

The lying thug detectives and D.A.'s get away with framing citizens. They laugh and joke, high five each other in the halls of the courthouses when lying under oath before a bought and paid for judge finds the facts inadmissible. I always wondered why people refer to cops as pigs. I find the reference an embarrassment to the animal.

  6. This seriously better get escalated to the Supreme Court. The JoCo Sherrifs Dept must not be allowed to get away with this.

  7. Not just JoCo Sherrifs Dept. Sherriff's lobby has their pig pals in Topeka keeping them safe and well armed. Not to mention their pals in the fed buildings. They MUST not be allowed to get away with this.

Judge Lungstrum proved where his big paycheck is coming from. What an ass. Appointee's are dangerous to our liberty. This system must be changed.

  8. It's true. Crime does pay in Kansas. All that is required is a cushy appointment, shiny badge, machine guns or a law license of some sort. Life time of cash, benefits and perks always ready to screw the innocent to protect the filth. Organized crime is legal in Kansas. In fact, they have turned crime into an art form.

I hope the Harte's start a legal defense fund. I'll be the first in line.
