TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY PRIEST SEX ABUSE SCANDAL NAME CHECK IN MOVIE CHRONICLING CATHOLIC COVER UP!!!

The legacy of Kansas City Catholic Sex Abuse persist in pop culture despite the fact that some diehard believers contend that the former Bishop Finn was falsely persecuted for his conservative beliefs.
A KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTER and movie aficionado reminds us: "At the end of the movie Spotlight KCK and KCMO were both listed as communities with priest scandals."
Background on the topic of the movie . .
"Spotlight is a 2015 American drama film directed by Tom McCarthy and written by McCarthy and Josh Singer. It is about The Boston Globe's "Spotlight" team, the oldest continuously operating newspaper investigative unit in the United States. It is based on a series of stories by the real Spotlight Team that earned The Globe the 2003 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. The film stars Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, John Slattery, Stanley Tucci, Brian d'Arcy James, Liev Schreiber, and Billy Crudup . . .
A brief plot summary . . .
"In 2001, The Boston Globe hires a new editor, Marty Baron (Liev Schreiber). Meeting with Walter "Robby" Robinson (Michael Keaton), Baron discovers that Robinson heads the "Spotlight" team, a small group of journalists whose articles are investigative in nature, but can take up to a year to publish. When Baron reads a small column in the paper about pedophile priest John Geoghan and a lawyer who says that that the Boston Cardinal knew about it and did nothing to stop him, Baron urges the Spotlight Team to chase the story . . .
Spoiler alert . . . I'm pretty sure that things don't end well for Catholics in this one even though there's no climactic ending where somebody gets thrown off a building and the hero says something clever . . . I'll have to watch it later and report back.
Meanwhile, the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese hopes healing services will lead the way to reconciliation as abuse advocates contend the Church isn't doing enough to address the root causes of the problem.
Counting this post as going to mass today . . .
Yes, KC's just like Boston and the KC Star reminds anyone of the Boston Globe.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahaha!!
Because Jesus is fake and the resurrection is a lie,, and Mary, if knocked up not by pedophile Joseph had a neighbor banging on her like an old lscreen door, I expect pedophilia of a priest. But what is wrong with parents who expose their children to such wickedness?
ReplyDelete6:54 Nice try Byron. You loved the wickedness.
ReplyDeleteWhy do insist on pretending that I make anonymous comments?
ReplyDeleteOr that you have psychic abilities?
Are you fucking retarded?
Some one killed all three of them ...
Byron you do, Enjoy your day waiting for the knock on the door...
ReplyDeleteYou gave your self up, AGAIN !
Planned Parenthood kills over a thousand babies a day.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is child abuse, but no one will call a spade a spade.
Biggest abortionist?
ReplyDeleteYour god.
Millions of abortions a minute!
And don't forget the birth defects........
...god is the biggest abortionist.
So you think abortion is wrong 8;15?
ReplyDelete8:15 believes in god anyways.
ReplyDeletewow your tipsters don't miss a thing. so what theater were they cleaning out?
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteNow that is comedy, my friend!
"The Church" is doing nothing because all the church is, is a money gathering organization, that steals from all over the world. It's also the oldest organized theft creation in the world.
ReplyDelete^^^^^ Unfortunately my parents have be giving generously to that pedophile crime organization for most of their lives, it sickens me to this day.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many babies Byron has swallowed down his perv throat in all his cock sucking days???
ReplyDeleteAbusing children is criminal and working to prevent and punish offenders is important.
ReplyDeleteProtestants report larger numbers of abuse allegations, for minors and adult victims. Baptists record the highest numbers as a percentage of congregations in the U.S. and their global missions.
This smackdown attempt on Catholics is wearing thin . . . hating much is not healing!
