Holiday note about a party tonight with our pal Craig . . .
CRAIG GLAZER: GIFT OF LAUGHTER FOR XMAS!
Well like you guys Christmas was always a day we ate opened gifts then went to a movie. Here's another entertainment choice for the holidays. Even TONITE. Stanfords is open tonite for the holiday. We have former KC guy Will C doing two shows with all his comedy pals.
Then Saturday and Sunday we are so excited to have one of the hottest names in comedy tonday, T.J. Miller. You can't get out of the way of his tv spots on now everywhere for his new big budget movie DEADPOOL with Ryan Reynolds. The Marvel Comic book comes to life this February on the big screen.
Miller's career has exploded in the last couple years with his HBO smash hit Silicon Valley, Transformers 4 W/Wahlberg, Starring in the Odd Ball Tour with Amy Schumer, his movie winning the academy award for best animated pix, Big Hero Six and his other one How To Train Your Dragon also nominated. T.J. has three major commercials on now including that funny Vodka one, Deadpool and even plays a character selling us nose spray. Funny stuff. T.J. as you know built his career with about 25 tv and A movie parts leading up to his new found fame and nonstop movies and tv series.
Miller became a close friend when he played our club back at Village West several times and was a huge fan favorite here. When in L.A. we see each other and he's just such a nice person. He never forgot his early days as a headliner in KC. So he's back for Xmas with two shows Saturday and one Sunday night. T.J.'s mom is from KC. Here's a chance to see one of todays major film and t.v. stars up close and in a smaller venue. He does meet and greet and talks to everyone after his shows.
The holidays continue to have big names at Stanfords, next week for NYE its Seinfeld's Kenny Bania, Steve Hytner. Then Josh Wolf the star of Chelsea Lately, her former producer and writer who got his own show the Josh Wolf Show. Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson 'The Crank Yankers' tv show and now 'That Metal Show' in season 11. Then Tim Meadows from Saturday Night Live, Ladies Man and Trainwreck with Amy and his new tv series The Goldbergs. We even have Ron Jeremy with Dante and Rebecca first week of Feb and JJ Walker for Valentines. Great line up for the winter season. Call for reservations. Have dinner before the show. 9134007500 or online stanfordscomedyclub.com.

ReplyDeleteTry and make me bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope no one figures out I'm 4 out of 5 comments here, just trying to piss people off. I'm just a lonely, single perv.
ReplyDeleteRoot canal sounds like more fun. If Glazer has touched it you know it sucks.
ReplyDeleteHarley has better taste than that. He dates hotter women than Glazer.
ReplyDeleteHa Ha. Saw T.J. all day on the tube promoting Deadpool movie he stars in, yeah he's a big deal. I'd like to see him
ReplyDeleteCraig who are these crazies? You guys getting a huge star like TJ Miller is unreal. I saw him on ESPN yesterday promoting NBA games and Deadpool. I'm coming. Sunday. Thanks for bringing him to KC.

ReplyDeleteIt's Paul Wilson posting this hater shit. He is the only one who thinks I'm Superdave. Stupid idiot is a, well stupid idiot. No one who posts on KCC thought much of TJ either.

ReplyDeleteI like Craig's place. Lot more fun than sitting around a blog and bitching.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^^ nothing like sitting around a joint with shitty drinks and the smell of piss. Reminds most of Westport late at night.
ReplyDeleteA little splash of puke and it's old home week. Enjoy your night 5:30, 4:27, and 8:30 am, all aka Glazer.
And you know this, 6:07, because you're wearing a tin foil hat?
