Somehow I think that there is more to the story about the people who have been without gas for 5 months.
ReplyDeleteOne story said that this was a rental property. Why hasn't the landlord been contacted about hooking the gas back up?
Are the tenants WAY behind in their gas payments?
Did they contact the Gas Co. in August about this or did they put it off until it got cold?
The city has an ordinance that forbids cutting off the gas in the winter months, whether you are behind in payment or not.
Is this another case of " I have a problem, but someone else better come and fix it. "

ReplyDeleteI saw this story on Fox 4 news this morning. There is no meter or gas service into the house. When they rented it, there should have been an electric water heater and an electric furnace (or at least baseboard heaters). Something sounds wrong with this story.
