ReplyDeleteBullshit! Missouri is one of the lamest states ever when it comes to standards for debt collection. First off NO debt collector in Missouri is required to be licensed or bonded. Second most debt collection is handled by out of state agencies for that reason. They can harass you 24/7 and sue you frivolously forcing you not to miss a court date or they will win default judgement - which is the plan since they can not prove about 85 percent of the debt they claim is legit. To make it worse Missouri has the worst bankruptcy law of damn bear any state in the union with virtually no real protections for families and a terrible homestead provision that allows the debtors to throw your family out in the street while all the states surrounding Missouri have a 100 percent homestead exemptions. Additionally the way collection limitations are set up in Missouri a bill can be passed from office to office and a consumer can be held responsible for literally decades.
No agency in the state protects you from this bullshit and the whole world knows the federal government seldom enforces the Federal Credit laws. Missouri is pathetic in its efforts. I am not advocating that losers run up debt and screw legitimate business, but most of these collection rackets are nothing less than freaking crooks dreaming up delinquent debt that is mostly bullshit. This move does little to nothing in bringing Missouri into this century.
Good ole Kate, has some decent camel toe and bush....Oh yes!
