Remember that City Hall leadership made big promises about selling or tearing down so many empty buildings which plague local neighborhoods and increase local crime. We've seen two publicity stunts involving houses and large construction equipment. One with the mayor and one with a councilman. Both proudly stood in front of decrepit houses and said there's a new push to eradicate abandoned houses. Then the equipment is used to tear it down.... and then NOTHING. This city hall is very good at creating fictions, not so good at reality.
