On paper the Kansas City Chiefs look impressive.
Their record now stands @ 10-5. Nine wins in a row is a franchise record.
A few game observations . . .
- This was a lot closer than people expected.
- A few decisions by Coach Reid were suspect with more curiously called plays and challenges.
- The Chiefs almost last this one against a pathetic 3-11 team.
Still, a win is a win.
The overriding hope for Kansas City fanboys is that the Chiefs follow the championship example set by the Royals. The reality is that this mediocre franchise has visited the playoff before and usually makes an early exit.

ReplyDeleteThe biggest difference between these Chiefs and the teams of the past is that this defence plays for 4 quarters. Last year that last drive for Cleveland would have been a loss for the Chiefs.
