  1. D-9 Cat and a red-neck 101 operator and you save the taxpayers $6,980,000.00 !

    Call it "civic improvement".

  2. What a fuckin loser. I was down there last month where the last shootout took place. The windows were still shot out and there were bullet holes everywhere.

I love the quote where there has been 70 million invested so far, but no one is satisfied with the results.

The results will not change, no matter how much is invested. You could dump in another 100 million and the existential problem with making it a profitable area would still exist. The Black Culture of violence and dysfunction would destroy everything, exactly like it does all over the country. Gimme a break with this bullshit aobut wanting to improve the area. This is just a pay off to the usual grifters who suck the fucking life out of every city, every neighborhood and every community that is cursed with a large black population.

Go down there. It is safe to drive through there in the daytime. It is a joke and always will be a joke. The money is going to go straight down the tubes.

  3. Damned expensive lipstick to put on this pig. But what the hell, to Sly and the council it's just somebody else's money.

  4. Did you see the way that huge crowd was packed into that place in the picture? Neither did I.

  5. I love Jazz and Jazz history, but there is just no justification for the taxpayers to foot the bill.

  6. Jazz is mainly night music. Kansas City is a town where it's not safe to be on the streets at night. What's more money got to do with fixing that?

  7. Let the political people account for the money already spent.... this is another one of our former mayor's boondogle and his friends are being paid handsomely on project after project tied to this district. The idea is good---but the political corruption and greed gets in the way of any progress being made. Clean up the City Hall corruption machine before any new projects are funded!!!!!

Young black males just can't get seem to get enough jazz.

They're always hanging around car washes and chicken shacks debating whether Miles or Coltrane was better.
