Here's FIRST word this morning of Missouri Democratic Party hot topic that we've been previewing since Summer.
In the aftermath of the resignation of Missouri State Sen. Paul LeVota amid an intern scandal there's now new hope as this Missouri Democratic leader steps us to claim higher office.
To wit . . .
NORTHEAST KANSAS CITY REP. JOHN RIZZO ANNOUNCES HIS BID FOR MISSOURI STATE SENATE RIGHT NOW!!!
Here are a few reasons why this is important . . .
- More (desperately needed) representation for Kansas City: Rep. Rizzo is an urban core advocate with an extensive record on anti-crime legislation and work. A place on the Missouri Senate would give Kansas City greater access in the struggle to prevent crime with state resources as well.
- Show-Me A New Era In Missouri Politics: Still in his early 30s, the rise to leadership of Rep. Rizzo offers hope of reinvigorating the Missouri Democratic Party with younger representation more connected to social media, current trends and technology.
- Labor leadership: Right to work will remain a big issue, Rep. Rizzo has proven loyal to workers and his candidacy will offer at least one voice completely committed to protecting collective bargaining rights.
Again, we've noted this hopeful run since the Summer and now it's official . . . Check the presser . . .
REP. JOHN RIZZO (D-19) TO RUN FOR MISSOURI’S 11TH DISTRICT SENATE SEAT
Kansas City, Mo.—Today, John Rizzo announced his candidacy for the Missouri’s 11th Senatorial District.
Rizzo has represented Missouri’s 19th House of Representative’s District since 2010. Today he released the following statement:
“Since being elected in 2010, I have had the pleasure of serving the residents of Northeast Kansas City, Independence, and Sugar Creek as State Representative. Over the past five years, I have fought to bring quality jobs to our region, increase funding for our educational institutions, and protect workers against attacks by well-financed out of state special interests. I am thankful for the continued support from the residents of Missouri’s 19th House District, and am energized to continue supporting our middle class values in the 2016 session.
The challenges facing Missouri and Jackson County require committed leadership, and after much consideration I have decided that the best way for me to continue to represent our interests in Jefferson City is to run for the 11th District Senate Seat. I look forward to talking with the people of the Jackson County about how we can make our community a better place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Developing . . .
Northeast needs all the help that in can get in Jeff city. Remember that over the Summer there were more than half a dozen murders near Indian Mound in less than two weeks.
ReplyDeleteKC Mayor Sly James should take note, his strategy of schmoozing Republicans in Jeff City has been a failure. If he wants to accomplish any of his goals he's going to have to start taking with other elected officials in KCMO. He will have to learn how to cooperate.
ReplyDeleteJohn is a breath of fresh air, after the LeVota debacle we need somebody who is going to concentrate on his job first.
ReplyDeletePlease Representative Rizzo, can we focus on saving the museum after the mess created by Gustello?
ReplyDeletePlease Representative Rizzo, can we focus on saving the museum after the mess created by Gustello?
ReplyDeleteDemocrats in Missouri need a new plan, with Super minority status it's obvious that what they've been doing hasn't worked.
ReplyDeleteGood god, no we'll have to listen to team Royster 2011 whine about this all day.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteWrong again, Will has come to terms with what happened and he's actually in a much better place. You can see him enjoying life around Northeast, Midtown and the plaza. Some people get over politics and move on to better things.
Say goodbye matt
ReplyDeleteH to the R-izzo
ReplyDeleteV to the R-izza
I be a Democrat scamming mo free stuff
fo shizzle, my nizzle
Will he need all the illegal Somali votes again, or, has the Fed displaced and recolonized enough 3rd world immigrants into the United States to replace Conservative voters without the use of voter fraud tactics so often employed by those pillars of virtue on the left?
ReplyDeleteMore crooked elections are no doubt in store for the folks in Kansas City as sinecure is secured for Democrats by way of the usual malfeasance, behind the scenes maneuvering and outright VOTER FRAUD.
If in fact, Royster has come to terms with his defeat at the hands of crooks, scofflaws and the usual, garden variety Democrat KC politician and consigned himself to his fate, then fuck him too.
Rizzo is a thief, a liar and has categorically proven himself untrustworthy in any office in any capacity.
No doubt a Clinton supporter.
Rizzo won't risk going to jail this time.
ReplyDeleteIt's LEGAL!!!!
Fuck you whitey!!

Maybe his opponent will have the brains to post observers in the main wards to catch the Somalis before they vote. We've learned how hard it is to prove voter fraud after the election.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Democrat district, he might not even get an opponent.
ReplyDeleteOh he will get an opponent. The people from Independence can smell a carpetbagger and opportunist. Rizzo just moved into the district THREE DAYS ago so he can be eligible to run in that spot by only a few days. The Harry Truman Democrats do not want a Kansas City guy moving in and thinking he can represent Buckner, Independence and Sugar Creek.
ReplyDeleteI will suck him off like a Hoover vacuum.
ReplyDeleteRadioman is probably walking around with a hard dick this morning from hearing this news. Liberal idiots.
ReplyDeleteI just took a big healthy Rizzo and it sure felt good.
ReplyDeleteThis is what disgusts people about politics. There are probably 10,000 citizens in this district who would be better qualified, have more integrity and would do a better job representing the citizenry. Yet we have an insider who gets the job because the party gives it too him. If any of those 10,000 citizens did decide to run they would get no support from the handful of insiders who determine elections and therefore have no chance of winning.
ReplyDeleteHe's got a tough road ahead. Hopefully he is still in his state rep. district and can rethink this and run again there. You've got a bright future Johnny. Don't ruin it by a brash move like this just because your father is pushing you. The negative things about you are going to hurt you and your family and destroy your future endeavors.
ReplyDeleteThat lying Sugar Creek Mayor thinks he is going to run and win. He is milk toast and a lying loser.
ReplyDeleteThere won't be a Democrat challenger, not enough money out there.
ReplyDeleteHe is a well financed and educated candidate who we need more of in Jefferson City. I wish him the best.
ReplyDeleteWhy anyone would wants that job in the minority shocks me ,but I think he is best qualified.
ReplyDeleteWow the Star article is great good Job John.
ReplyDeleteAnother free libtard politician ad on TKC. Gee imagine that!
ReplyDeleteJust another low-life-liberal who acquires office through the manipulation of blacks, illegal immigrants (Slow motion voter fraud, approved and encouraged by the Fed and the illegal "Sanctuary City" program-which the Fed does not enforce, while it DOES enforce it's power to stick states with unwanted refugees.), Muslims and those who vote-for-a-living. His place in the local pantheon of Democrat politicians is assured by party affiliation and crony connections which in turn, exacerbate the arrogation of taxes from "Makers" and bequeath it to "Takers", again, that would be those "Bread and Circus" "Takers" who suck the life out of everything they touch when not actually assaulting, murdering, raping and robbing the "Makers". Oh yeah, unless you pretend to like it, you are a RACIST.
ReplyDeleteI am dead, dead, dead in a Black on White hate crime that will not be mentioned by ANY candidate in this election.
I am an Independence voter who is in his State Rep district and had an issue with an income tax refund I called his office and got a call back right away and a check in three day. He Will have mine and my families vote.
ReplyDeleteRizzo is a great guy and will be good for you people. I plan to write a huge story on him along with pictures of him posing with me to impress you all with. Don't you all just wish you could be me?
ReplyDelete1:52 Translation = EBT Bennies for Illegal Somalis who voted ten times apiece at different polling places for RIZZO!
ReplyDeleteThanks Yael.
ReplyDeleteLOL 2:02 + 1
ReplyDeleteI am gald for John he has paid his dues
ReplyDeleteIts sad there are some sick people on these blogs with these comments.
ReplyDelete2:33, get well soon!
ReplyDeleteIs he any relation to Ratso Rizzo from the Bronx?
ReplyDeleteI think the more informed comment is at 9:40. JJ Rizzo might be a good candidate but we're beyond the point where that really matters. It's party politics as usual in KC MO.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Rizzo-the-Younger running in Independence. I think he has truly found "his people". Curious to see what POS comes in to claim his House seat.
