Jackson County Deserves Most Of The Credit For Kansas City Royals World Series Winning



Our blog community wants to stress a fact that has been lost in the mix of so much celebration . . . Sure, victory has a thousand authors but the suburbanite interlopers are missing something important.

Checkit:

"The Royals got $225 million in local public dollars to help renovate Kauffman Stadium because of a three-eighths-cent sales tax passed in 2006 in the county."

So, most of these folks from JoCo and middle-Missouri are nothing more than FREELOADERS who don't realize the team is subsidized by a County comprised of a great many broke-ass denizens who sacrifice car more than an afternoon in order to "take the crown" or any other slogan.

  1. If those out-of-town "freeloaders" quit patronizing events in murderous Kansas City -- events which charge an arm and a leg to park, get admitted and buy refreshments -- your stinking little town will be as broke-ass dead as Detroit within a year.
