Our blog community contends that the current win streak is a result of a longstanding Kansas City football tradition . . . Excellence when the pressure is off. If the home team follows their same patter over the next few weeks, they should finish with another mediocre season with key losses when it really counts but enough wins to make the local fanboys keep buying merch and tickets for next year. You decide: Credit to Chiefs for getting back to .500, but can they sustain it?

The only thing the Chiefs are proving this season is that mediocre teams go to the playoffs every year. The extra games sell tickets, junk and make loads of money for the NFL. The fans are the putzes for buying into it.
