Read this note from the Mayor's office comparing Kansas City to a lot of 3rd world places also engaging in tech hype. A more optimistic explanation: "The Core Smart City designation means Kansas City joins an elite community of practice that shares successes, lessons learned and best practices more broadly and enable the city to amplify its expanding leadership in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technology." Kansas City Selected as a Core Smart City

The Mayor is right about one thing, Kansas City, like third world countries, is run by terrorist. Using government to kill the will of the people and anyone who resists is publicly and metaphorically beheaded using the Star, media, judicial system, policing agencies, etc. And none of it happens because the resistor is wrong, but because they're right.
ReplyDeleteIf Kansas City is such a Smart City, how come there are so many dumbasses commenting on here all the time?
ReplyDeleteI don't know, 10:49, why don't you give us an answer to that one, dumbass?
ReplyDeleteThat would be 9:49 (the dumbass), of course.
ReplyDeleteI read this blog for the information. The dumbasses entertaining me are just a bonus.
ReplyDeleteYet another expensive and meaningless and empty "award" by an organization that no one has ever heard of and has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of life of residents here.
ReplyDeleteHow about working to earn some awards for well maintained streets or fewer murders?
Haha!
ReplyDeleteGoogle announced an initiative to put programmable swinging ropes in the ghetto so the yard apes will no longer have to aim as they swing from tree to tree. According to the city this plan will help alleviate an already high burden places on emergency services who are often tied up digging each other out from under walls and stuff. Google says the plan will cost the city 36 million, but will increase property values bu billions over the next 60 years.
ReplyDeleteIt is not much of an honor to be named a smart city by dumb people.
ReplyDeleteKC is not smart for handing over so much money to cisco. In fact, it was a dumb move.
