Show-Me Admitted Missouri Child Molester Who Might Go Free Thanks To Legal Trick

SNAP calls out this tragic case that puts Missouri courts under scrutiny for allowing a tragic trick to escape justice . . .

A news outlet reports that a “confessed child rapist from Jefferson City, Missouri was able to walk free last week after delaying his trial for years, then suing for dismissal of his case on the grounds that he could not get a speedy trial.”

Check the statement from SNAP applauding "prosecutor Ben Winfrey for trying to appeal Cole County Circuit Judge Patricia Joyce's irresponsible decision to free" the suspect.

  1. Criminal cases have more legal loopholes than a little bit. That's pretty funny. I don't think it works in civil cases, though.

  2. sometimes guilty people have to go free in order to make sure innocent people don't lose their freedom. its a sacrifice we make to protect freedom.

  3. Excuse me, SNAP reacted? Was this guy a priest? I've been told that SNAP only focuses on sex abuse by clergy. In fact, that's what my wife was told when she tried to join a SNAP support group. Since she was abused as a child by a relative instead of a priest, she didn't fit in.

Glad to see them expanding into all cases of child sexual abuse. Guess they ran out of clients to drum up for their attorney funders.
