The downward spiral of Kansas City continues with another embarrassing loss at the hands of a far better quarterback, team and metropolitan area.
Final score: 36-21
The Chiefs fall to 1-3 and continue one of the most embarrassing losing streaks the organization has seen in a generation.
QB Alex Smith wasn't quite as miserable as he has been in recent efforts, it was the O-Line that really lost this one.
Moreover . . .
THIS SEASON IS KAPUT AND THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS SEEM UNWILLING AND FAR TOO ARROGANT TO CHANGE THEIR HORRIFIC STRATEGY!!!
Astute observers realize that the team has been playing the same outdated style of football since the 70s. So it's not really a lack of talent but an overall malaise that not only consumes the team but also this town . . . In reality, the Chiefs look great on paper, just not on the field.
Again, coach Andy Reid's play calling is predictable and uninspiring, the secondary was easily outsmarted and the despite some moments of brilliance . . . The team didn't seem committed enough to put forward a consistent effort.
UPDATE: There's always a lot of content regarding the games . . . Here's a bit of sacrilege that's Sunday appropriate and a call to prayer to resurrect the otherwise dead Kansas City Chiefs season:

And so another season is down the tubes and OUR BLOG COMMUNITY WAS ONCE AGAIN CORRECT ABOUT THE DEMISE OF THE TEAM while only fanboys would argue the contrary.
Developing . . .
We'll get'em next year.

Time for a new QB and new coach.
ReplyDeleteIt's time for a change! First, Reid goes, replaced by Coach Botello! Next, Sly gets recalled, replaced by Mayor Botello! Last, everyone should write in President Botello! Botello, Botello, Botello!
ReplyDeleteYou left out Ban Ki-Moon.... Botello for head of the United Nations!
ReplyDeleteObviousky you forgot Mi-Ai Parrish... Tony's true destiny! Botello for Publisher of the Kansas City Star! It may be time to test the fundraising power of Kansas City's most powerful, astute and well followed blogger... it's time to start a kickstarter deal with the goal of raising money to buy the Star and out Botello in charge! Botello for Owner of the Kansas City Star!
ReplyDeleteGod damn, that Fan Boy term is almost as funny as TOY TRAIN!
ReplyDeleteWish Tony could tell us what he would blog about if the endless misery he experiences was not present?
Chiefs weren't serious this year anyway.
ReplyDelete"Wish Tony could tell us what he would blog about if the endless misery he experiences was not present?"
ReplyDeleteHaving his asshole licked by grown men I'd guess
I don't think the season is shot just yet, the other teams in the AFC West will have their problems too. But now is definitely the time to start making some changes. If the Chiefs don't try to put something new together, they are just being lazy.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the Rams are leaving too.
ReplyDeleteAre you volunteering anon 442PM?
ReplyDeleteO-Line will take at least 2 seasons to get together. This is a problem that Reid should have been on since day one.
ReplyDeleteBye Andy!
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteWisdom!
ReplyDeleteYou bitch about the Chiefs, why not be fair and give kudos to the Royals for their win today along with home field advantage!
^^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteDon't be a bitch. Chiefs suck and royals will lose quickly. They were lucky last year.
Will the St Angeles Rams be in the Super Bowel
ReplyDeleteIts easy math. A losing coach equals a losing team.
ReplyDeleteHearing that the Chumps lose is like hearing that someone got iced on the east side. So common nobody cares. Maybe they will leave with the Rams.
ReplyDeleteNot really a shocker that the Chiefs lost, neither is Tony Botello's ongoing bitching about anything KC related
ReplyDeleteThose nigger boys up front aren't worth a shit!!! Hell they probably are worthless pullin a plow! Worthless niggers couldn't block a defense blitz by a bunch of Basset Hounds.
ReplyDeleteTony Botello is the only person who talks honestly about the team, I hate watching the news and listening to everybody pretend like this latest loss is just a setback. The season is over.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^^^ Tony Botello and honestly cannot be used in the same paragraph.
ReplyDeleteBut you did make me laugh.
