MLB officials are calling the forecast challenging and New Yorkers worry that a rain out would give the Royals an advantage.
Meanwhile, even though most MSM focus on the FINALLY released roster, Kansas City residents without tickets might do well to remind their elected leaders that instead of tweeting about the game, fixing all of the flooded streets in the urban core whenever it rains might be more productive.
You decide . . .
Two things:
ReplyDeleteTony, oddly, is correct. Elected that get tickets as perks reflect arrogance when they tweet out how much they are enjoying the game.
Secondly, keep Madson out of the friggin game.
The country doesn't give a shit about baseball any longer.
ReplyDeleteKC has its own hype bubble they made the past two years. We only think it's a big deal because we've been losers for such a long time. Enjoy it while it lasts, though. Once we get the pennant this year, it will be back to normal as our key players will be moving to greener pastures; thus the slump returns.
Sports are rigged to stimulate the local economy, and KC's body politic took it hook, line and sinker, as always. This town is overrated as shit.
I'd leave, nigger
ReplyDeleteSure, that's why "small market" teams are drawing close to 3 million each season, when 20 years ago, that level was reached by LA and NY.
ReplyDeleteIts nice you are evidence that you can say anything on the internet.
Feel free to check my facts 150.
