Remember when this guy was going to the greatest thing Kansas City had produced since the Teflon-coated frying pan or Mickey Mouse??? It didn't happen but to this guy's credit he keeps on cranking out music that's not the worst thing out there . . . Here's a pretty good review . . .

Maybe when the P&L finally figures out what the problem is in the district perhaps they will book Cook instead of Tech9 for at least one weekend night of peace.
ReplyDeleteFirst, David Cook is from Lees Summit or some suburb - not from Kansas City. Second, they're probably right that David Cook is the best thing from Kansas City if you forget about Charlie Parker and all the other musicians that came from dare I say it... the Eastside.

ReplyDeleteDavid Cook is still awesome. Saw him perform live this past summer in Leawood's Town Center. Keep promoting him for sure, post photos and any links you find. He deserves to be in the national spotlight again.
