The book and symphony "battles" with other top baseball cities were interesting for about 10 seconds but otherwise this is another strange show of privilege and SUPREMACY from the public TV denizens who don't have to worry about ratings. Instead, just like Kansas City artsy snobs, they just have to please a few patrons and win some government grants.
