GOP Debate According To Kansas City Blogger

One of the most insightful Conservatives in Kansas City takes a look at last night's GOP ruckus in a thoughtful post . . . Take a look: The Sassy Conservative

Comments

  1. Stop calling it a debate. It is not a debate. It is a jumped up press conference. The "moderators" don't moderate like they would in a debate, they interrogate. I would watch an actual debate among the candidates (depending on the format) if the moderators were actual debate officials and not thinking impaired journalist-inquisitors.

  2. Marco Rubio, a guy that never shows up for work and still draws a 6-figure tax payer check, is (most say) the winner of a debate no one watched last night. He is the reality of today's Republican Party.....he and the fool Trump.

I never thought I would say this, but Clinton would be a far better choice then anyone this dysfunctional clan can offer.

  3. What can you say about the Sassy Conservative, other than "a brain is a terrible thing to waste!"

She writes: "-I had a lot of competing TV choices tonight. The World Series with my Kansas City Royals was on, my kids and I always watch Survivor, and then for this political junkie, I had to watch the GOP Debate.

-To be honest, the main reason I was excited to watch, was to see my guy Rubio do well, and he never disappoints."

I especially like her choice of words in describing herself: JUNKIE

    junk·ie
    a drug addict.
    synonyms: addict, abuser; More
    informaldruggie, stoner, -freak, -head
    "a heroin junkie"
a person with a compulsive habit or obsessive dependency on something.

  5. This bimbo should not be blogging for a myriad of reasons. The first being that she is completely disconnected from public opinion. For her to declare anyone a winner and think it is going to stick just because she says, or worse, because she actually thinks she has any influence at all, is simply a demonstration of what a screwball she really is.

  8. 10:07, if you truly believe that Hillary Clinton is the best choice, you are an idiot. I'm a registered Democrat, and I will vote for ANY of the Republican candidates before I vote for that lying, vile, hypocritical elitist.

  9. OK, given that the GOP demographic is old white men, did anyone actually watch this?

When a tree falls in the forest with no one around, does it still make a noise?

  10. Given that the Dem's demographic is a hodgepodge of shiftless blacks, illegal immigrant Latinos, indebted college grads with non-marketable majors, and single women birthing illegitimate kids, none of them them will watch the Democratic debate. They know the two primary candidates - a pathological liar leading a corrupt political machine versus an avowed Socialist - are both guaranteeing them more free stuff that will be financed with more debt, so it doesn't matter which one the Dem's nominate.
