Only in Brookside/Waldo or Perfect Village would you be able to take an ordinary waffle add some chunks of flavors to it and get away with it being special.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmother made fancy waffles most all her life and never once did she stand in front of her house trying to look stupid for a photo op. In fact at Christmas Day Breakfast it was always special trying to guess what kind of waffles she would prepare that day. And for you young whippersnappers out there Grandmothers back in the day was where the term covert operations came from. You stayed out of the kitchen and you asked no questions because answers were not to going to be given just a stern, "Now go on, go find something to do." But ahhhhhhh the wonderful food that came from those kitchens that I so today miss getting to enjoy.
