An inspiring report offers typical pleas for "community engagement" that don't quite tell the whole story of this town. Some locals would like to think that the "code of silence" in Kansas City is an urban core phenomena that only applies to people of color . . . A step in the right direction, but until our black politicians, our black public officials, our black community activists, and our black parents come together as a whole community, and start resisting the “stop snitchin’” culture, and encourage cooperation and collaboration with local law enforcement, we will never see peace in our black neighborhoods.

Problem is only a sucker is gonna snitch because there is no money in snitching and you'll live longer if you don't snitch. Where you gonna run to Heaven?
