ReplyDeleteOh please, Kansas City picks what not for profits will thrive and which will not, only certain 501's get airtime, mention by the city officials, etc. why Burns & Mc, KCP&L will ignore requests for help, much like JE Dunn, who the will not ignore? Hospitals, friends and any board they sit on up to and including the hispanic chamber, other groups they will whisper about but are not held accountable or brave enough to acknowledge their deceitful actions
ReplyDelete12:12 some of us had good working parents (mom & dad each had full and part-time jobs while raising 3 sons & 3 daughters)who made us responsible. We got no allowances paid for required home and yard chores at our house, so we had paper routes, snow shoveling, leaf raking, errands, sitter, dog walking, and car washing jobs. Lucky for us some neighbors (retired or widowed) and a few miles away in the "rich" area kept us busy year round.
ReplyDeleteMaybe some kids are in bad circumstances with poverty all around, along with other failures in families from addictions and bad choices. The innocents did not bring themselves into this world. Adults have to do right and better the way for children.
