KC going downhill quickly I can see. TKC, this isn't just the typical 'urban core' you talk about. Some of these people have invested hundreds of thousands in their homes to be surrounded by a lot of fatalities.
ReplyDeleteYou can spend all the money you like on hotels, streetcars, and airports; if people don't feel safe, they move away. Even though overall crime is down in KC, homicides have spiked and all too often, innocent young children are the victims. Kansas City is consistently ranked one of the ten most dangerous cities in America.
ReplyDeletePolice response to crime is important, but preventing it is *more* important, and by taking resources away from zip codes that are underdeveloped, we're exacerbating the problem. If I have to listen to one more empty promise to impose tighter gun restrictions, I'm gonna be sick. Build economically diverse neighborhoods, partner with KCPS to identify at risk youth and connect them to the services they need to be successful and stay out of trouble.
I'm not whining to whine, and I'm not blaming one specific person, but I have not seen enough concern from this Mayor to satisfy me.
Bryan, what is an "economically diverse neighborhood"?
ReplyDeleteLil wannabe wetbacks trying their hardest to be hard, shooting n killin ain't kool lil spick, esp another lil wabb like yourself,, that's nig shit,,, bad way to assimilate into the US of a
ReplyDeleteJesus, who fucking cares about this shitty dump? Swimming in Mexcrement and mudsharks, their subhuman nigger baby daddies and half-breed spawn (not human either since 0.00001% nigger equals ALL nigger).
ReplyDeleteFence it all off and set it on fire I say.
Pssssst.. hey meeeester. It's SPIC...
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that some parts of KC are going to end up abandoned before the next election and any actual concern about crime.
ReplyDeleteI cruised around the NE area today and made it out alive to tell the tale. It had been several years since I've been in that dumpy area of town and really hadn't changed much except more Hispanic restaurants thought a fair amount of blacks were walking around. Drove around Bud Park (that's ghetto) and viewed the crime scene at ninth and Hardesty. You know that crime where a mom was driving her van and got caught in a cross fire and she died, her kids all went to th hospital in critical condition. I thought about looking for bullets but thought nah, better not.
ReplyDeleteIn conclusion I doubt if I get down in that area anytime soon again.
Blacks and Low Riders are the cause.....everyone knows that.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the white kids, as if any of the crime there is being committed by white people. No, it is all the local "diversity" that is committing the crimes. And 3:48 you didn't notice all the Somalian stores? Shit loads of Muslims there now, one of which was indicated a while back for funneling money to al-queda. Guarantee there is more of that going on down there.
