The Kansas City GOLD STANDARD of political discourse talks all things local this evening.
A really great show this time around that talks everything from the Toy Train to the Pope and all points in between.
Description . . .
"Mike Shanin interviews Tom Gerend, Executive Director of the Kansas City Streetcar Authority, about the status of the KC streetcar. Then Terry Riley, Mary O'Halloran, Gwen Grant and Steve Mirakian discuss the reaction to the Pope's appointment of Bishop James V. Johnston, the defeat of the minimum wage hike in the Missouri veto session and the proper tribute to KC's first woman mayor, Kay Barnes."

You tell'em Terry!
ReplyDeleteMore info in this show than the last one. I like some of the new panelists and think the show should really focus more in Mike's analysis of the week's events. Shanin really is one of the most astute observers of what's really going on in Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteThe only niggers I want to see on TV are the ones lying in the streets! Am I right or what?

ReplyDeleteTrue dat!
That is 100% brilliant analysis of the TKC fart sniffer class. Finally, a good comment today.
Good Royals game tonight. I imagine anything short of sweeping through the playoffs without a loss will invoke misery from Tony.
ReplyDelete38,000 people having a good time. Pulling for their team. Enjoying their families. Smiling and laughing. Can't even begin to wrap my mind around Tony not being pissed off at all that cheer.
OK Tony. Bitch and moan in 20 minutes.........

ReplyDelete"Pulling for their team?" That sounds dandy!
ReplyDeleteAgree with 8:58 PM.
ReplyDeleteHow fucked up is it, that Terry crook Riley, Mary slatternly O'Hollerin and Gwen Entitled Grant get to dominate the program, but, oh no! Tony is too controversial.
ReplyDeleteWhat a load of fuckin shit.
It is hard to gauge who is more sanctimonious and condescending, Merry or Terry.
It's a good show for the most part. Think Tony gives it too much credit. I wouldn't bother watching it if he didn't post it.
