Wow Fine Homebuilding has totally sold out with this one.
ReplyDeleteWhat percentage of the economy relying on public subsidies is the tipping point? All of these new technologies are interesting but cannot survive without state involvement. And anything that lives outside the narrow scope of the green movement is regulated to death. Who is going to pay the bills?
ReplyDeleteHow much did this one cost us over the next 25-50 years?
ReplyDeleteI bet a lot of bodies could be hidden in all that concrete...
ReplyDeleteWho will give a fuck in one hundred years? All of the synthetic plastic insulation will have failed, the power system will have been replaced three times, and the area will be a run down unfashionable slum again. It may be possible to build a structure that lasts centuries, but you can't make people value that structure for centuries.
ReplyDeleteIn Krappass City, it is hard to get anybody to build anything that will last forty years, or even let it stand around that long!
