According to TKC commenters all law enforcement officers are more infallible than the Pope, and incapable of committing a crime. So the doctors who are of impeccable moral character, with prestigious academic degrees in the field of medicine and trauma must be lying. After all remember, there is no police stay state problem, and cops are pari passu with Zeus.

ReplyDeleteJailers have a horrible job. All day, every day, they deal with people at their worst. Those who do it right need support against inmates, and against their coworkers who are dumbasses.

ReplyDeleteThose guards were not professionally trained. They had some bullshit training program held in their own conference room.
See, they all got together and the one that had hung in there the longest was made the trainer! Easy peasy!
The course was made up. And it wasn't long, drawn out! Oh no! They needed warm bodies on the floor because employee churn was/is tremendous.
What you had here was the untrained leading the untrained. When KCMO jail merged with the county lock up Chief Forte saw the problem and offered to really train the corrections officers. Those guy refused big time! They wouldn't get extra pay if they had professional development from an outside source. Now that is where they shot their own ... dick.
Everyone in the Tower will be fired for failure to oversee the County Corrections unit. All of them. If they are not then the FBI will dig deep into the personnel system.
Oh Mr. Tindall! Why are you screwing up so spectacularly?! If you want to run the Courthouse you better start doing a better job or Sanders will be escorted out of the building.

ReplyDeleteBut, I venture the majority of us believe the majority of PD are trustworthy and work for the public good. It is not with blind allegiance that support and recognition is given to the police agencies by very many. Society has overall gone less violent per capita while some city's hot zones have gotten more dangerous. A minority of officers crossed the line and the public is justified in outrage. We don't dare send the message that misused might is right.
It has to be said, tensions have heightened for many on all sides.

Seldom are innocent people in jail. Seldom are the innocent ones raped or getting their asses kicked. It's the comomon loud mouth knows it all bad guy who gets their ass handed to them and then goes and snitches out he got beat up. Jail was never meant to be a fun place to hang out. I mean its full of assholes just like the one who got his ass beat.
