The latest book from Jack Cashill represents a real leap forward in his work and actually leans just a bit Libertarian. Here are the highlights from his latest talk about the book in Kansas City: 'Neo-Puritans' want to punish you for 'sin'

Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a PC Fascist Country led by a Fascist "Pen and phone" Post Constitutional President.
The PC "Narrative" forced down our throats every single day by the Liberal Anarcho-Tyranists in this country has bent us to the will of an Orwellian Elite that rule us in the same way as Mao did it in the Cultural Revolution. Get ready for the Purge. If you lack in "Willful Impercipience" then job loss, social opprobrium and violence is your lot.
The 'tards will wail, moan and let fly the spittle in outrage over Cashill's comments. But I daresay none of them will have the capacity to show us, at any one point of his sermon, just where he's wrong ...

ReplyDeleteJack has some good points. I hope he is correct in that there will be a reaction to this neofascism and that we all once again realize we do not have a right not to be offended.
ReplyDeleteAs a supporter of gay marriage for libertarian reasons, I certainly think fining the bakers who refused to bake a wedding cake for lesbians is an outrage. I don't understand why the ACLU or the IJ didn't take that one on.
The ACLU never respects property rights or the rights of business. IJ only takes on cases it has a good chance of winning and the gay and lesbians have done a masterful job of equating their struggle to the civil rights battles. The difference is blacks were completely marginalized whereas gays and lesbians have to go looking for discrimination. Then they act like not getting some baker to make them a cake is equivalent to sitting at the back of the bus.
ReplyDelete7;52, in many states and localities the ACLU has been hijacked by leftists. Their notion of justice is based on totalitarian statist ideology and has nothing to do with civil liberties as most of us understand them.
ReplyDeleteJack does a great job. I am surprised he still hangs around CK.
